HAPPY HOLIDAYS, HILLCREST HERONS!
|
It's hard to believe we are nearly a third of the way through the school year and only three weeks away from winter break. When you have the daily joy of supporting Hillcrest students and staff the time just flies by!
While many of our students and their families are looking forward to the holidays, we know for some this time of year can bring a bit of stress or anxiety. If your family has any needs, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Hillcrest is a caring community and we will do everything we can to provide direct help or direct you to resources within the greater local community.
As always thank you for supporting your child, our staff, and our school.
Respectfully,
Paula Seaman
Hillcrest Principal

STAY INFORMED OF WEATHER RELATED SCHOOL CLOSURES
|
We pride ourselves on getting students to and from school safely. Snow, windstorms, and power failures can cause disruptions for schools and families. During difficult times, we will do all we can to communicate information through appropriate channels. When weather, road, or school conditions result in a schedule change, we inform families through multiple methods, as appropriate. If schools are operating on a normal schedule, no notifications will be issued.
School closures and schedule changes are districtwide, even if your neighborhood is not severely impacted. Some areas of the district experience more severe weather and driving conditions than others. If your residential area has hazardous road conditions, please do not attempt to drive to school and notify your school of your situation.
As a reminder, no notifications will be issued if schools operate on a normal schedule.
